House Bill 2092 will set healthy standards for snacks and beverages served or made available in schools. By starting children off on a healthy path, we can lower their risk for diabetes and other diseases.
Jeremiah was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2007. Now a huge portion of his monthly income goes to paying for his diabetes prescriptions and supplies.
